If you love Jesus, are passionate about creating a church unchurched people love to attend, have a 'make it happen' approach to work and possess proven leadership skills, LifeSpring is looking for leaders like you.


We’re a church of about 65 weekend attenders (ranging from 55-75) looking to tell everyone we know about the love of Jesus, and reach everyone we can.


But wait, you say.  You haven’t been to seminary.  No worries.  We actually find some of our strongest leaders come straight from the marketplace.  And you thought God couldn’t use you…

Are you a natural leader?  Do you have a passion for God and a penchant for doing things differently?  Do you thrive on building others and investing in their success?  Do you enjoy public speaking?  You may be just who we’re looking for!


LifeSpring is a small but growing and innovative church.  We have a core group of ~40 energetic, passionate and talented people.  We use the world class teaching media produced by NorthPoint in our Sunday Celebration experience.  Andy Stanley (founding and senior pastor of NorthPoint) is our primary Teaching Pastor.


We are currently looking for a Lead Pastor to grow with us!  If you are a driven, dynamic leader who is an energetic communicator and an inspirational team builder, come and help us build a loving, grace-filled biblical community and make a meaningful impact with our surrounding communities.

Key Requirements:

  • A growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • A driving passion to help others become all that they can be in Christ: to disciple, mentor, and empower.
  • A driving passion to reach unchurched people, and to enable others to multiply.
  • Experience developing leaders and leading large teams of volunteers.
  • An effective communicator, speaker, and teacher with diverse cultural / demographic experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to help others understand and apply the scriptures in daily life.
  • A motivator and inspirer, whether sitting with a small group or standing in front of a large crowd.
  • Have healthy family relationships, not perfect, but a worthy example for others to follow.
  • Hard-working, but love to have fun!
  • Self-starter, but thrives on a team.
  • Embraces an elder-guided model of church governance (i.e. be a key face of the leader team to the congregation, and key advisor to the elders, but final accountability rests with the elders).
  • Embraces a small group approach to ministry.

  • Embraces an “Orange” model of ministry (http://orangeleaders.com).


Responsibilities:


> Provide leadership to the ministry by:

  • Championing high standards, quality, and consistency in all LifeSpring environments;
  • Providing primary vision communication;
  • Primary host for Sunday morning services;
  • Preaching 6-12 weekends annually;
  • Developing strategy to meaningfully impact internal culture and external community;
  • Encouraging, supporting, and leading the ministry leaders and congregation.

> Oversee the personnel development for:

  • Host Team;
  • Environment and logistics teams;
  • Small group ministry;
  • Production Team;
  • Guest Services;
  • Children and student ministries.

> Invest in and embrace the local community.


> Develop relationships with local community partners.


> Performing other traditional pastoral responsibilities – weddings, funerals, baptisms, child dedications and mentoring/coaching.

Work schedule is typically 45 hours per week and includes Sundays and some evenings.


We believe that Father God has given us a nearly clear vision of where we’re headed, and a less clear vision of the type of help we need to get there.  We also believe that He is preparing the right leader to come and help us, and we’re praying for that person!
